Jackopierce formed in 1988 as a duo of Jack O'Neill & Cary Pierce. They generated a large local following before taking to the road where they toured relentlessly building up a national fanbase and promoting their three self-released albums. The band eventually decided to call it quits in late 1997 following a farewell tour.
